Privacy Policy Effective Date: August 28, 2025

Welcome to Pixpa!

This Privacy Policy explains how Idea Zinc Design LLP ("Pixpa", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use our website (www.pixpa.com) and related services, templates, tools, and features (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website at pixpa.com.

  • Users – customers who sign up to use our Pixpa’s Services.

  • End-Users – visitors or customers of websites built by Pixpa Users.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, please reach out to us at support@pixpa.com.

By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, we recommend discontinuing use of our Services.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

We collect and process information depending on how you interact with Pixpa:

  • Visitors to our website (pixpa.com)

  • Users who create and manage websites using Pixpa

Technical Data (collected automatically):

  • Device type, browser, and operating system

  • Language settings and screen resolution

  • Referring pages, session duration, click behavior, and page load times

  • To understand how our site is used (via analytics tools)

  • To manage affiliate programs and marketing campaigns

Personal Information (if you provide it):

Information Collected Automatically Includes:

  • IP address

  • Browser and device details

  • Login times and session activity

  • Security events (such as failed logins)

This information helps us secure your account, monitor usage, and improve performance.

C. End-Users (Visitors to Your Website)

When someone visits a website built with Pixpa, our infrastructure may process limited technical data (e.g., uptime monitoring, error logs, or IP addresses used for security filtering). This is done only to keep the platform reliable and secure. Pixpa does not use this information to identify or profile End-Users.

Any personal data submitted by End-Users (such as contact forms or purchases) is collected and stored only on behalf of the Pixpa User (site owner). Pixpa does not use End-User data for its own analytics, marketing, or advertising.

If you, as a Pixpa User, add third-party tools (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel), you are responsible for obtaining consent, publishing a privacy policy, and ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws.

3. Will Your Information Be Shared With Anyone?

We only share your personal information in specific situations and always with appropriate safeguards in place.

When and Why We Share Your Data

We may share your personal information in the following scenarios:

  • With trusted service providers who perform essential business operations on our behalf — such as hosting, payment processing, customer support, analytics, and infrastructure management. These providers are bound by strict contractual obligations and are only permitted to use your information as instructed by Pixpa.

  • In the event of a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your privacy during such events.

  • We may share information with partners only where necessary to provide integrated services or co-branded features. We do not share information for independent third-party marketing.

  • When required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety, we may share your information to comply with legal obligations, court orders, or government requests. We may also disclose information to detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, or potential harm.

Importantly, we do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for advertising or promotional purposes.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies?

  • Operate our website and Services securely

  • Analyze traffic and performance

  • Enable affiliate and marketing tracking (on Pixpa.com only)

These tools may be placed by us or authorized third parties. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. For more, see our Cookies Policy.

Cookies are not used on Pixpa Users’ websites unless you, as a User, add your own third-party tools.

5. How Do We Handle Your Social Logins?

If you sign up or log in using a third-party service (e.g., Google, Facebook), we receive limited information from that provider, such as:

  • Your name and email address

  • Profile image (if shared)

  • Other details you’ve agreed to share

We use this information only for login and account access. We do not use it for marketing or share it further. Please review your social platform’s privacy policy for details on how they handle your data.

6. Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), Pixpa relies on appropriate safeguards in line with data protection laws. These safeguards include Data Processing Agreements with our service providers and, where required, the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent measures. These mechanisms ensure your data remains protected when handled outside your country.

For more information on cross-border data protection, see our Data Processing Addendum.

7. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law (such as for tax, accounting, or legal compliance).

When we no longer have a legitimate business reason to retain your data, we will delete or anonymize it. If immediate deletion isn’t possible (e.g., due to backups), your data will be securely stored and isolated until deletion is feasible.

8. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. These measures include encrypted connections, access controls, and regular security audits.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use Pixpa’s services on secure networks and devices.

9. Do We Collect Information From Minors?

The Services are not intended for and may not be used by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor who is using the Services with your permission.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from someone under 18 without appropriate consent, we will promptly delete it. If you believe this may have occurred, please contact us at support@pixpa.com.

  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Restrict or object to how we process your data

  • Withdraw your consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to request access to or deletion of your data, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Pixpa does not sell or share personal information as defined under these laws.

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at support@pixpa.com. We respond to privacy rights requests within one month (30 calendar days), as required by law. This period may be extended by up to two additional months where requests are complex or numerous. In such cases, we will notify you of the extension and explain why it is needed.

Managing Your Pixpa Account and Data

  • To review or update your information: Log in to your Pixpa account settings.

  • To delete your account: You can request account deletion through your dashboard or by contacting support. Your data will be removed from active systems, except where legally required or necessary for legitimate purposes (e.g., fraud prevention or compliance).

For End-Users of Pixpa Websites

If you’re a visitor to a website built using Pixpa, please contact the website owner directly to manage your personal data. Pixpa acts only as a processor on their behalf and cannot fulfill such requests directly.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust your settings to refuse or delete them. Note that disabling cookies may affect how the Services function. Learn more in our Cookies Policy.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” in our emails or contacting us. We will still send essential administrative messages related to your account.

11. Do We Make Updates to This Policy?

Yes. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at pixpa.com/privacy-policy, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent changes.

If we make significant changes, we may notify you via email or through a notice on the platform. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly.
